The US Department of State publishes a Visa Bulletin each month setting out which priority dates may proceed in each green card category. It is authoritative, and it is hard to read: dense tables, two charts that are easy to confuse, and no history beyond the current month.

This site republishes those figures in a form you can actually use, keeps every past month we hold, and shows what changed between them. That is the whole product. We would rather do a small number of things accurately than cover everything badly.

Every figure originates from the Department of State Visa Bulletin. Nothing here is estimated, modelled, predicted, or smoothed.

Each bulletin page links its official source and shows the date we retrieved it. Where a month was read from an Internet Archive snapshot of the official page rather than from the page itself, we say so on that month’s page — naming a source we did not actually read would undermine the only thing this site promises.

A bulletin is not published simply because it parsed. Every import runs through the same sequence:

• Every cell must be read. If a value cannot be interpreted, it is stored with its original text and flagged — never silently dropped, because a missing row is invisible and a wrong row is not.
• Compared against the previous month. Large retrogressions, categories that disappear, and status changes are all surfaced for review rather than published unexamined.
• Blocked on error. A month with any blocking error is held back for review instead of being shown to you, even if publication was requested.
• Checked against the source. The priority-date logic is verified by re-reading the government’s own file with a separate, independent implementation and comparing results — so a single mistake in our reader cannot quietly agree with itself.

• We do not predict future cut-off dates. Movement depends on demand and annual limits, and anyone presenting a forecast as fact is guessing.
• We do not tell you whether you qualify, whether to file, or what to file. That is legal advice, and it requires someone who knows your case.
• We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not want your documents.
• We do not fill gaps with plausible-looking numbers. If we do not hold a month, it is simply not there.

Always confirm against the official bulletin before making a filing decision. Our figures are a convenience; the government’s are the record.
